Artifical Intelligence: Random Facts about AI

You're going to learn of random facts about Artificial Intelligence, popularly known as AI. I'll encourage you to explore more, and feel the blood rush in your veins as you delve deeper. I happened to share this in a WhatsApp Group, championed by Autogon, an AI platform, where you can build ideas. You don't have to be a techie.

Growing up, I was familiar with a computer game as we called it back then, it was called RoboCop. Hope it rings a bell. Happens to be my first encounter with the idea of robots and also a passion growing up.

Here are some random facts about Artificial Intelligence.

First of all, the word Artificial Intelligense didn't come to play until Dartmouth organized a scientific conference in 1956, where a young human mind,Sir John McCarthy coined the term and he was known as the Father Of Artificial Intelligence. This sparked more research into the field.

USA and China are said to be among the top investors in AI. The market is expected to rake in more money in the near future, thereby making it works billions in dollar.

Google also claimed to have an Artificial Intelligence, capable of generating computer chips in 6 hours in amounts which can rival human labor in months.

That's breathtaking.

Elon Musk has predicted that it will surpass the human intelligence by 2025.

The origin of Artificial Intelligence has been traced back to ancient Greek myth, where there are tales of Golden Robots, engineered by Hephaestus, the Greek god of invention and technology. You might want to read more on that. It would help give a better historic understanding.

Artificial Intelligence, just like any other tool in human history, is built to assist. So, the future is made up of people that uses the tools or making them. As a result, it would continue to get contributions from every sphere of life.
